Backpack to Koh Lipe / Thailand Part 1

Backpack to Koh Lipe / Thailand Part 1
 { Malaysia to Hatyai 2014 }

This is the 1st trip i backpacked from Malaysia to Koh lipe island , Koh lipe a.k.a the
Maldives of Thailand,might sound like pulau rawa and when you tell your friends you are going
to go to Koh lipe , they will be like  "What"s there in pulau rawa?" hahaha.

For those who didn't know ,Koh lipe is a small island in Thailand,the last island of southern
Andaman Sea, it is very near to Pulao Langkawi, Kedah compared to its Thai mainland. The island is
so small 3 main beaches on Koh lipe just within 15 minutes walking distance.

It is a chill and relax island with no hustle and bustle, suitable for those looking for a weekend gateway with either yourself or with some friends, however avoid going during public holiday and peak season,you wouldn't enjoy the island like how you would love to.

All photos is taken by Olympus Tough 3 + Wide converter , the performance is good suitable for traveling who like snorkeling and extreme games , is really Tough and can go for underwater, but for night shooting the quality is not so nice,noise is quite high, quite regret didn't bring my Canon 5d mark ii,  course of it is heavy and large..im lazy..enjoy the photos coming up .

Chapter 2
Departing from Hatyai to Pak Bara Jetty it take 2 hours ride, van service by Cathay Tour Hatyai.

When i reach Pak Bara , the van driver will lead you to the counter of their company to take verify the boat ticket and departing time.

Locating my hotel, Harmony Bed and Bakery

Once you get near, you have to take a long tail boat into the beach as it’s shallow and alot of coral ,they are protecting the coral damage from the speed boat, there’s no major jetty there – the long tail boats are the only bane of Koh Lipe as they act as a taxi service between the beaches.

 Pay 50BHT for Long Tail Boat ticket, when you getting on the long tail boat you luggage or backpack the crew member they will help you to put on board , they are very lovely and nice .
